I am Amar Akbar, a Chartered Physiotherapist (BSc and MSc) working for the NHS, governed by HCPC and the CEO of S.P.C Therapy.

S.P.C Therapy stands for Sports, Physio and Complementary Therapy because that is what we offer as part of our therapy services.

Established in 2019, S.P. C’s focus is to deliver Sports Therapy services including rehabilitation and deep tissue manipulation. Our physiotherapy services cover anything from post-traumatic brain injury (neuro-physiotherapy), breathing techniques (respiratory-physiotherapy), lower back pain (musculoskeletal-physiotherapy) to working with solicitors, ensuring accurate settlements are made to those involved in an accident.

Currently, our Complementary Therapy services entails cupping therapy, acupuncture, and specialised
massage.

Our practitioners are qualified (minimum a degree), certified and insured.
Our approach is holistic and for that reason, not only we offer therapy services, but we practice functional medicine to address metabolic health, gut health and support mental health for optimal health.
