Lead Trainer is Mark Ward, Senior Hypnotherapy Practitioner and Master Practitioner of NLP who has been (and continues to be)in busy business since 2006 and has over 12,500 client sessions and counting. Prior to this, Mark was a qualified secondary school teacher and has since amassed a bag of experience and skills in training adults too. He brings professionalism and expertise and subtleties amassed sine 2006 but also fun and humour into these interactive workshops!

Location is in Grade 2 listed building, town centre location in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire with great transport links. There is on-site parking and refreshments (not lunch). There is the main training room plus other smaller rooms off the training room for practice. (Not all practising in pairs/threes in the same room like most live training !)

All trainees receive electronic and physical copies of course manuals and are offered support afterwards.

Suitable for New & Experienced Practitioners. Whether you're completely new to therapy or have experience in therapy, coaching or psychology, you'll learn in a way which is hands on, supportive and suited to your existing level of knowledge. It is of course important to have an interest in helping people and a desire to want to help people make positive changes in their lives.

Taking the Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy with New Beginnings Training Academy can open lots of doors. You can work primarily in private practice as a clinical hypnotherapist . Private hypnotherapists can expect to earn between about £70 and £150 per session. Some hypnotherapists choose to go on and specialise in an area such as children's hypnotherapy, menopause, IBS, trauma, sport, hypnobirthing or smoking cessation and can charge considerably more. Some hypnotherapists choose to work with organisations, including charities and community organisations such as anxiety UK or hospices.

In addition to people who wish to become hypnotherapists, counsellors, psychologists, teachers and business leaders can incorporate this Diploma’s multi modality approaches into their existing work.

What does the course cover?

​The Diploma course is approximately 120 hours classroom training. You are also required to read in between sessions, practice with volunteers and complete "real life" case studies.

There is also an open book exam, reflexive essay and business plan to complete. Total hours including classroom and "home" study is 450 hours. The case studies are absolutely crucial in learning your skills and developing your confidence.

The Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy explores a range of approaches, including solution focused, psychodynamic and CBT approaches to hypnotherapy and also how to incorporate NLP and Mindfulness. This provides you with an integrated approach which means you can respond to the precise requirements of your clients without limiting yourself to a single mode of working.

Learning hypnotherapy ‘skills’ is only a part of the Diploma. Just as important, and covered in detail on the course, is how to set up your business and start making a living as soon as you qualify. This course places a considerable emphasis on getting your business up and running and after-care is provided.

​There is an option to continue with Mark as your Supervisor. Many people emerge from their hypnotherapy training with some great skills but with no idea how to work confidently with clients or establish their business.

Throughout the course, we explore how to set up a practice which reflects your values and which will allow you to earn a comfortable living. Your 1-2-1 with Mark Ward helps you create a vision for your business and determine the practical steps which are required to bring that vision to life.

Trainer: Mark Ward, ex Teacher and over 12500 client sessions since 2006 as a Hypnotherapist. Mark works with both adults and children (from 8 upwards). For his successful outcomes over the years with children, he is fondly known as “Magic Mark”.

Working with children can take your business to another level as so many therapists seem to avoid doing it. It can be quite different to working with adults but can often be easier and fun at times, as children respond very well to hypnosis and NLP as they have great imaginations.

Accredited 121 Supervision for new and existing therapists offered virtually or face 2 face. Mark Ward is an Advanced Practitioner with the General Hypnotherapy Register (G.H.R). and also an accredited supervisor with the G.H.R. Supervision is vital aspect of practice for any hypnotherapist.

ONE TO ONE TRAINING

All training courses are available on a one to one basis. We realise it is not always possible to join a course on a particular day/s, so one to one training allows for the creation of a practical bespoke training package that is convenient for you.
