This service includes an initial spiritual guidance/consultation prior to the reading. The USUI Reiki services offered by Sandra consist of hands on/off, seated or lying as well as distance.

ABOUT...

Sandra has always leaned into spirituality from a young age and owes a lot to its presence during challenging and difficult times. Her awareness of her intuitive ability meant her empathic abilities have grown with her life experiences.

Sandra’s ethos is that a person needs to work on their well-being holistically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally and physically in order to reach their best of self. Sandra's professional career includes: youth and community worker, mental health nurse and an army reservist. Which is indicative of her ability to build a therapeutic rapport with others without judgement. On reflection Sandra has identified that whilst trying to be what other people expected her to be within the career role she held, she was not being true to herself as well as spiritually aligned with herself. Once Sandra acknowledged this, she then began to notice a shift in her abilities.

Once Sandra accepted the responsibility of her true self thing began to fit. Ever-evolving Sandra believes that each person holds the answers they are searching for and that at times just allowing that person to speak in a safe environment helps.

Sandra has learnt from her own experiences that  self-healing is a long and ongoing progress.

It is important to have the right tools to aid moving forwarding and beginning with the healing progress. In 2015 Sandra was able to build her toolkit when she walked into a shop called Equinox a spiritual and well-being based shop.

Sandra received such a warm and genuine welcome from a lady called ‘Billy’ the owner of Equinox. She felt like she was meant to be here. It initially began with purchasing the many beautiful, individualised products such as crystals, oracle cards, incense etc. Sandra was given information regarding Equinox Therapy & Training Centre. Crossing that threshold Sandra began to experience and develop her skillset, spiritually speaking.  

The connection was made and so began her learning and training within Sandra went on to complete accredited training in a number of courses at Equinox Therapy & Training Centre.

In November 2019, Sandra took the opportunity to spend some time working with the military community mental health team. During a short sabbatical term in which she was able to utilise her low level intervention skills Sandra realised that unlike working in a mental health setting  in its present form, that quality time spending with the client in which they felt that they were being heard, listened to in a non-judgmental environment, meant that they could open up.

A like minded fellow colleague had observed how Sandra engaged and worked with her clients and encouraged her to consider counselling as a career. During the Covid-19 Pandemic Sandra began her counselling studies. At present Sandra is continuing with her training in counselling of which will be an additional service made available in the near future.

Sandra feels that her spiritual journey has been a life time and still is but now that she has accepted her role in Holistic Therapies with spirituality being the nucleus of those services, she has feels more aligned within her greater purpose. Sandra believes that just like a phoenix arising from the ashes, an individual can excel from their present situation with the right support and guidance to the point that they then can fly solo, empowered and equipped.
