What is Somatic Therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is a therapeutic approach that focusses on the connection between the mind and body to address trauma and its effects.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, somatic therapy emphasises the physical sensations in the body as a way to process and heal from traumatic experiences.
By addressing trauma through the body, somatic trauma therapy can help individuals achieve a deeper level of healing and recovery.
I offer somatic-focused therapies that align with the theory of stored emotions that can often manifest as physical symptoms.
- Somatic Trauma Therapy: Focused on processing and releasing trauma, useful for treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and much more. In person or Online sessions available.
- Myofascial Release Therapy: Targets physical restrictions in the fascia to restore mobility and reduce pain.
- Emotion-Aware Massage: Connects emotional energy and physical tension through touch massage.
Services are usually tailored into one session depending on individuals emotional and physical needs.
