Are you really putting yourself out there as a therapist? Here are our top tips for making your presence known…
1. Social Media
As we are all well aware, social media is the go-to place for building businesses these days. It’s now also apparent that video is on the rise and becoming a powerful way of building your numbers as it’s is fed to more of your social media followers than regular posts. So why not make a pre-recorded video, talking about the philosophy and background of what exactly it is that you do? Or maybe a short demo of what your clients could expect from coming to your classes or signing up to your courses? Make sure that you are responsive to any comments and start making yourself a real person to them.
2. Local Media
You could also contact your local media channels and ask if they would run a free article about your services. They will be much more likely to engage if you contact them personally and tell them about yourself and what it is that you do/your journey etc.
3. Get out there!
Take part in local markets, expos and festivals. You could do a demo, offer promotions and make connections. Of course it makes sense to take place in events where your target market would present, but also branch out and try to reach new clientele. This gives you a great opportunity to build your mailing list and explain to the public what it is that you are offering. There are people out there in the real world as well, and the trick is to balance your social media campaign with a physical presence.
